Puck Press

The KME grass block press has been designed to produce 1kg blocks of grass approx. 150mm dia x 100mm tall with a hole in the middle to allow for a rope to be fitted to hang the block to alleviate boredom of stabled horses and ponies.

The machine has a maximum of 40ton main system pressure. The grass block is made with dried grass which is fed via conveyor then weighed in a holding hopper, once the weight is met the grass is pressed into a round domed puck, once the press has finished the box will automatically lift to reveal the block and be ejected . The final puck is then ready for packaging.
