Pearce Recycling new MRF

Pearce Recycling has made a significant advancement with the acquisition of a new Co-Mingled Materials Recovery Facility (MRF)from KME Ltd, showcasing their commitment to innovation and sustainability in waste management.

The new plant features state-of-the-art technology, including a robust KME infeed chain conveyor, cutting-edge glass separation, and ballistic screening technology from CP Group, complemented by an eddy current and overband magnet. This strategic investment not only enhances their processing capabilities for mixed dry recyclables, card, paper, mixed plastics, and both steel and aluminum cans but also demonstrates Pearce Recycling’s ability to overcome operational challenges.

The installation process was particularly complex as it required integration with the existing plant without interrupting its operations. Through meticulous planning and collaboration, KME successfully achieved this with minimal disruption, ensuring continuity in their services. This latest development is a testament to our expertise in the field and our dedication to providing efficient and environmentally responsible recycling solutions. Sort systems are designed and built in house, in the UK by Ken Mills Engineering. All equipment is designed using the latest in 3D modelling techniques helping to design and manufacture more efficiently.

Also installed at their site is an Aries twin ram baler and existing Container MRF with in-feed chain conveyors and glass separation and Eddy current and over band with Picking stations.
